Not the official 3R report. A seller still has to order the DBI 3R before closing. Details
Method and sources
- Assessor Historical Secured Property Tax Rolls, roll year 2025 (211,547 parcels); Building Permits; Electrical Permits and Plumbing Permits (legacy system); Department of Building Inspection Complaints; Notices of Violation; Soft-Story Properties; Parcels – Active and Retired. All published on DataSF under the Open Data Commons Public Domain Dedication and License (PDDL).
- Joined by block and lot. A permit filed on another lot of the same building (a condominium, for example) appears on that lot.
- The use shown is the one written on the latest completed or issued permit; it is not the authorized occupancy stated by DBI in the 3R.
- Estimated tax: assessed value × 1.18268325% (combined secured rate FY2025-26, Board of Supervisors Resolution 447-25), before exemptions and direct charges.
- No owner is in the data. We show the street, never the civic number. Free-text permit descriptions are cut to 120 characters, with emails and phone numbers removed.
- Medians: computed by us on at least 11 parcels.
